After the glaring and surprising outcome of the results of the just concluded general election into the Federal House of Representatives, Senate, and the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 25th of February, 2023, the Accord candidate for Arochukwu Constituency in the Abia State House Assembly, Dr. Samuel Uba Okorie has charged the electorates of the constituency to be steadfast in their demand for change because only that can guarantee emancipation for them.

Dr. Samuel pointed out to the people that they must take advantage of the heightened sense of political consciousness prevalent in the polity to enthrone credible leaders as the party loyalty and bandwagon syndrome has been defeated in Abia state for the good of the people, the old order has been pulled down to erect progress and pragmatic leadership that will steer the state out of the economic and political quagmire.

“I am highly encouraged by the statement made by Abia electorates string the February 25th general elections. The political Goliaths of Abia state were pulled down in one succession and those still grasping for breath will equally follow suit.

“In previous years, they will make you believe that your vote doesn’t count, no it counts, it is your votes that have pulled down their empire and retired them from oppressing you. I encourage you to come out on 11th March to repeat the same magic because that is the only way we can take back our state from them.

“The time for party blindness is over, this is time for choosing credible leaders and I am the most qualified to lead Arochukwu Constituency to achieve greater growth and progress.

“Do not be afraid of their structure of impunity because it has been pulled down. Focus on the man with the mental capacity and proven antecedent to deliver maximally. You have done it on the 25th, let’s do it again on the 11th of March and rescue Arochukwu, albeit Abia State together.” he advised.

Indeed, the bush is still very quiet in Abia state as the surprises of the last polls result have become a hard pill for the political war Lords of Abia State to swallow, but we must get it right.
