Dr. Uduma Nnate was formally a Business Manager of Several UBA Branches in VI, Lagos. And later moved to Capital Oil and Gas as Business Manager, Sales. And so many other Private Sector top positions.

Udy as fondly called by his admirers was the foundation Director of Training & Development of Mben Political Assembly(MPA) where he left and found ABIA NORTH POLITICAL PROJECTS GROUP(A pan Abia North Political THINK TANK) that adopted Dr. Alex Otti OFR as their Consensus candidate. He is also the Publisher/CEO of ABIA THINK TANK ONLINE NEWSPAPER (ATTNEWS).

The Committee which is headed by Navy Commodore Azubuike (Rtd) will be inaugurated on Friday 26th, July 2024.

The Abia State Task Force on Petroleum is responsible for:

1. Monitoring and regulating the activities of petroleum marketers and dealers in the state.
2. Ensuring compliance with petroleum laws, regulations, and safety standards.
3. Preventing adulteration, hoarding, and diversion of petroleum products.
4. Checking the sale of petroleum products at unauthorized locations.
5. Enforcing the use of approved measuring instruments and sealing faulty ones.
6. Conducting routine inspections of petroleum facilities and tank farms.
7. Investigating cases of petroleum product theft, vandalism, and sabotage.
8. Collaborating with security agencies to prevent petroleum-related crimes.
9. Educating the public on safe handling and use of petroleum products.
10. Reporting to the state government on petroleum-related matters and making recommendations for improvement.

By performing these responsibilities, the Task Force helps to:

• Ensure the availability and distribution of petroleum products
• Protect consumers from exploitation
• Promote safety and environmental protection
• Generate revenue for the state government
• Support the overall development of Abia State.
