The incoming governor of the God’s own state, Abia State, Dr. Ukpai Iro Ukpai was among candidates of the Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP who were presented to other party faithful at the presidential rally of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP that took place at Abakiliki, Ebonyi state and was also presented with the party flag to fly in the coming general election.

Presenting the flag to the party flagbearer, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the NNPP ably represented by his vice presidential candidate, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, prayed for the success of Dr. Ukpai and other party candidates at the polls and advice them to work with other party faithful to ensure victory for the party at all levels.

While responding after the blessings and handing over of the party’s mandate to him, Ukpai assures the people of victory at the polls and promises to hit the ground running immediately he’s elected governor of the state.

Speaking earlier, the party Deputy National Chairman, AVM John Chris Ifemeje, who lead other National Working Committee, NWC members to the event, reminds party faithful to go home and mobilize others for the candidacy of Engr. Kwankwaso, he also used the opportunity to reel out the plans of a new Nigeria, as stated in the party blueprint.
