Following the defection of Anambra State Deputy Governor, Chief Dr Nkem Okeke from the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, there have been series of news circulating all social media platforms on portending threats to his life by those who believed Dr Okeke lacked the power to decamp to another party suitable to him and his inner man.

According to the Director General, Global Initiatives For Good Governance, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu, it is surprising that despite all the ills, backlashes, high handedness and sidelining that this ebullient leader of Igbo land has been suffering under the government of Chief Willy Obiano, raducers of falsehood still develop the zeal to publish junks to deride his integrity and most painfully nursing plans to attack him.

“Global Initiatives For Good Governance(GIGG) hereby reiterates that those who are incubating and hatching this evil plans should rob and blink their eyes knowing full well that if anything under any guise happens to the Deputy Governor, it would definitely pierce,perforate and profusely bleed the fore heads of those behind it”

“Verifiable proofs from our routine investigations affirmed that the office of the Deputy Governor has long been reduced to a puppet one to the extent that his entitlements and other statutory benefits are denied him. Notwithstanding,he stooped and kept working under the governor with full allegiance to APGA but instead of honour ,he was treated with derision and this is highly unacceptable in any democratic setting.

“Threatening Dr.Okeke for his defection to APC is a sign of self signed defeat on the part of the cabals propagating these ills”

“Let it be abundantly made clearer to those fermenting evils thought against this illustrious son of the land to be conscious of the fact that the said deputy Governor didn’t come from the bush but “when the imagined helpless chicken is being killed, then it wouldn’t waste time for the real owner to be known”
