On behalf of my wonderful family and our great Party ADP, I feel engrossed in unbelief the spate of security decadence in Ohafia. The frequency of violent disagreements between the youth and security officers has indeed become appalling, especially the ease with which life is cut short through these infractions.

I wish to appeal to everybody to sheath their sword and embrace peace with the understanding that the worst peace is better than the best war. Recall that we have lived with the Soldiers from when they were 125 battalions at Amaekpu till date. We lived in peace with them and they exercised the rules of their engagement with uttermost respect. We can join hands and find out solutions to this imbroglio.

The first thing we need to do is to maintain peace to avoid more carnage and then call for Pan Ohafia Security Summit. Representatives of all Security Agencies Serving in Ohafia should be present at the meeting. The Monarchs and Traditional Rulers should bury their hatchets and chart a single cause of unity not minding who is at fault.

Also to be invited are Political stakeholders and gladiators in Ohafia, Ohafia Improvement Union and their Branches, the Youth Association, Vigilante, and others who may be deemed fit to attend. The gathering will produce a permanent solution to this impasse.

Furthermore, I wish to commiserate with the family of Prof. U. U. Uche and the entire Ohafia Community over his loss. This also goes for the families of those that lost their loved ones during the recent face-off between the Military and our people. May God grant their souls repose in Paradise.
