Orji Uzor Kalu is well recognized across Nigeria and the globe for being a rare breed, a phenomenal political gladiator and an astute businessman of repute. He has become well-known and has established a strong brand, both is business, politics and other human endeavours.
His robust name and charismatic demeanour frequently imply an African Igbo man with a strong will to succeed. A man who is aware of his responsibilities and who knows that failure would have a significant negative impact on his franchise as a living example of success through hard work and determination.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is man of creativity whose concepts gave rise to prosperous commercial chains; a man whose power to cause positive change has no boundaries; a man who, at the age of 25, rose from the position of Chairman of the Borno Water Board to that of Chairman of the Cooperatives and Commerce Bank at the age of 28. a youth who got elected to the House of Representatives in 1992, governor in 1999 and went on to become a senator in 2019. The list of his achievement is exhaustive.
Notwithstanding his state in the society and his well established and celebrated achievements, OUK (as he is fondly called) epitomizes humility and compassion that lie beneath his quick ascent to fame. He is a man with extraordinary grace and decorum. A bright star amid the starry galaxy.
By working hard and adopting a healthy pursuit of greatness as a way of life, he builds his own comparative advantage. Anything less than a complete dedication to excellence, OUK as he is affectionately known will see it an acceptance of mediocrity, which he abhors with a fervour.
It is a pleasure to use this opportunity to join host of Nigerians, friends, family well wishers to celebrate this rare gem of our generation as he mark his 64th Birthday, another opportunity to be grateful to God.
Happy Birthday His Excellency.
