Nigerian music legend, Faze, has revealed the emotional turmoil he faced after the breakup of the iconic group, Plantashun Boiz.
In an exclusive interview, Faze shared that his hit song, “Faze Alone,” was born out of depression and uncertainty following 2Baba’s departure from the group.

“After 2Baba left us to go solo, I was consumed by depression,” Faze confessed. “I questioned my ability to succeed alone, and it was a dark time for me.”
Despite the emotional struggles, Faze found the strength to create music, and “Faze Alone” was born.
“I wrote ‘Faze Alone’ during that period, and it was therapeutic for me,” he revealed. “I never imagined it would become a hit.”
The song’s success was a surprise to Faze, but it marked a new chapter in his solo career.
“I did it alone, but with tears in my eyes,” Faze reflected. “It was a turning point for me, and I’m grateful for the journey.”
Faze’s story serves as a testament to resilience and creativity in the face of adversity.
