Police in Lagos State apprehended three suspected cable thieves in the Ojodu area during a stop and search operation. The suspects, identified as Babatunde Murutu, Segun Lawal, and Adebayo Iyanu, were found in possession of cables, screwdrivers, and scissors during a routine bag search conducted by officers from the Ojodu Division around 3:20 a.m.

Upon further interrogation and investigation, it was revealed that the trio had allegedly stolen the cables from a nearby building in the neighborhood. SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the police spokesman for the state, confirmed the arrests on his verified handle @benHundeyin.

The suspects, Babatunde Murutu, Segun Lawal, and Adebayo Iyanu, are currently undergoing investigation, and they will be arraigned once the investigation is concluded.
