Your emergence as Deputy Speaker did not come as a surprise – Jonas hails Ben Kalu

Following his victory to the lofty position of the Deputy Speaker of the 10th Session of the Green Chambers, National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Action Democratic Party, ADP, a candidate in the recently concluded Abia state gubernatorial elections, Mazi Chibuike Jonas, has sent a congratulatory message to the member representing Bende Federal Constituency on his emergence as the Deputy Speaker to lead the 10th Assembly with Hon. Yari as the speaker.

While Speaking with OHAFIATV News on his reaction to this development, the former Arochukwu Local Government Boss, expressed confidence in the abilities of the lawmaker to deliver at all times.

“We have seen his performance and spirited effort at bringing dividends of Democracy closer to the people of Bende Federal Constituency. I must say without equivocation that the people of Bende never had it better.

“When he went back for his second term, I was confident that he will do more because he is brilliant and has focused on hard work to ensure that dividends of democracy are brought closer to his people.

“Therefore this is only a higher calling that requires higher expectations as he now represents the entire Abia State, South East, and the Nigeria people as a whole. More responsibility is now on his shoulders and I am optimistic that he will deliver to expectations,” he said.

He described Rt. Hon. Benjamin is a good man with focus, positive energy, and determination for more extraordinary things due to his youthfulness. He, therefore, encouraged other young politicians to always aim for greater heights by adding hard work for the best results in their political and life endeavors.
