OHAFIATVThe Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, has approved the immediate removal of Mazi Emmanuel Ukwu Obasi Kanu, Transition Committee Chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, ordered Mazi Kanu to immediately hand over property and affairs of the Council to the Deputy Transition Chairman of the Council.
”On the other hand, the Governor has graciously approved the recall of the suspended Transition Committee Chairmen of Aba North and South Local Government Areas, Chief Victor Ubani and Hon. Cherechi Nwogu respectively.
”These directives take immediate effect.” The governor said.
