Report reaching Ohafiatv News Desk have it that the members representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Honourable UKO NKOLE has attracted the reconstruction of the popularl OMENUKO BRIDGE, IGWU RIVER.

This bridge is of historical significance and has left people wondering why the bridge has remained untouched even as it has remained a death trap for users that ply the road.

Apart from it’s historical significance, the bridge is also know for its notoriety of haven claimed many lives over the years, from death of Omenuko himself, a popular merchant of his time to claiming of lives of members of the family of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai in a ghastly motor accident.

Beside these popular accidents, it has also claimed the lives of many other commuters that ply the rout.

The news of the award of the reconstruction of this bridge is a clear example of jinx breaking which has characterized the leadership of UKO NKOLE.
