As the drama deepens between old friends over accusation and counter accusation of a controversial publication made by an Abuja based blogger, Comr Amos Kalu, publisher of ohafiatv News, alleging that Director Emmanuel Eyaba, an Abuja based Film Maker and President of Directors’ Guild of Nigeria, Abuja Chapter, has a baby mama of 20 years whom he spent his 2020 Christmas with, away from his legal family, an accusation that has generated much dust as to its authenticity.

At first, many people believed it was just a media stunt because the two individuals happen to be friends way back as Emmanuel Eyaba trained Amos Kalu through his talent hunt program in 2018. But what seems to have started like a joke has taken another turn as Dir. Eyaba has threatened legal action against Kalu and his platform, OHAFIA-TV News to the tune of N10,000,000 after denying that such allegation exist anywhere.

But rather than apologize, Comr Amos Kalu has taken another route to challenging Director Emmanuel Eyaba to a debate on Live Instagram where he promises to unravel more evidence.

In series of update on Facebook, Kalu insisted that he is not scared by threat of legal action against him and his platform, insisting that court will be a better place for him to bring his evidence to prove his point.

According to him “Yes! Director Emma Eyaba is my good friend and he taught me film making, but he took a wrong turn when I brought something to his notice, instead of debunking the news, he threatened me and my source as if that was the best way to handle it. I had to react because my job as a journalist is to unravel the truth by confirming from all parties, I can chose to drop a story or otherwise not because you scared me, but because I will love to know my position on every happenstance with facts and figures. This time, I am convinced of what I have on him, so I can’t flinch because of his threats.

“So let him appear on a Live IG feed to argue it out with me let’s see how solid his alibi is.

“I wasn’t planning to go down this lane with him because I love peace, but I hate threat of any kind, let him prove me wrong in Police, Court, IG or anywhere he chose, in the end…” he ended the sentence incomplete.

Meanwhile, many Unleash Ur Creativity Ambassadors from UUC1 UUC2 and UUC3 have continued to mediate in effort to avert the mounting tension between Director Emmanuel Eyaba and his former student Comr Amos Kalu.

Many believe that the only way out of the argument is to broker a truce between the two to allow a more peaceful stelltment of the matter in-house as friends.
