Mben Political Assembly (MPA), the think tank for Ohafia clan in Abia State celebrates with the government and people of Abia State on the commemoration of the creation of the state, 29 years ago.

As the people roll out the drums today to mark the anniversary, the MPA believes it is a new dawn for God’s own state, it said in statement signed by the Directorof Publicity, Chief Emele Onu.

By taking advantage of age, experience and potentials, Abia State is bound to take a pride of place in the Nigerian nation, the association said.

The MPA is pushing for good governance in Abia State and is campaigning for the emergence of a Governor of Ohafia extraction to lead the state, come 2023. Its Board of Trustees is headed by Nigerian former finance minister, Dr Kalu Idika Kalu.
