In the spirit of the celebration of Eid-El-Kabir across the universe, the Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Film Corporation, NFC, Dr Chidia Maduekwe, has encouraged all Muslims to fervently pray for greater peace and unity as it is the only panacea to ensuring progress and prosperity of Nigeria.

In a statement he signed and made available to the press, the APC Chieftain and frontline Abia North Political Stalwart urged the Muslim faithfuls to see the festival as a moment for sober reflection and prayers for peace, unity, progress and stability of the country, reiterating that peace is the only key to a better and prosperous Nigeria.

In the same vein, Dr Chidia Maduekwe, who is also the facilitator of Nkaa G’eme group called on all Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love for one another at all time because a nation in unity can move forward more reliably than a state of chaos. He also asked for ernest prayers for the Buhari-Led administration, for wisdom and divine direction in fighting the many challenges facing Nigeria because uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. It is a command to always pray for our leaders.

He, as well appealled on every good spirited Nigerian to make peace non-negotiable and sacrosanct in the endless effort of nation building, averring that Allah will take away every challenge facing Nigeria at the moment.
