The umbrella body of uniting youths of OKON-AKU Ohahia in Ohafia LGA, Okon-Aku youth Association, Aba Branch have concluded their annual love banquet in grand style.

The event took place on the 15th day of February, 2020 at Blue Bash Hotel Aba to encourage the need for unity, love and togetherness that will guarantee progress in the land of OKON-AKU.

This year’s event tagged “Be My Val”, was well attended by Okon Aku youths, some invitees, dignitaries as well as guests from other Ohafia communities that joined them to Express unity that makes Ohafia one indivisible entity from genesis.

Highlights of the event included Beauty Contest to crown the next Prince/Princess OYA 2020, but The Prince and Princess of OYA 2019, retained their positions after challenging members that they remain unbeatable, until they decide to leave office.

Criteria for the the office of Prince and Prinxess of OYA included being acquintant with issues concerning the community and the ability to be committed to the activities of the association at all times.

At the end of the event, the President, Comr Able Philip Okpan, who doubled as the host, thanked the youths for coming out, as well as other guests that graced the occasion, reminding the youths that the epicenter of the whole efforts is to pass through OKON-AKU without failing to deposit a postive impact that will help the generations to follow.
