The realization of the Abia Industrial Innovation Park (AIIP) has received another boost as the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA) is set to grant the industrial park a free trade zone status.

This is the result of the meeting between the Abia State delegation as led by Engr. Chinedu Onyeizu and the DG and management of OGFZA to pitch the potential of the Abia Industrial Innovation Park to help Abia State and Nigeria to achieve its economic development plans.

The CEO of AIIP in his presentation highlighted some anchor tenants who are interested in locating their operations in AIIP. They include HSI Ltd,  Beloxxi, Total Energies, Petro Base Group , TAF realtors etc

The DG, Bamamga Usman Jada and the top management team appreciated the Governor of Abia State for his commitment to the industrial development of Abia State. He stressed that the park is not only an Abia project, but a Nigerian project that targets every young and able worker in the country. He stated that when realized, AIIP will add to the developmental efforts and visions of President Bola Tinubu.
