In a show of their support for the candidacy of Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji (a.k.a Opotoyom), the Labour Party’s candidate for the 2023 Abia North Senatorial contest for representation at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, the Abia North Council of Ndi Ezes, during their regular meeting at Ohafia Local Government Secretariat, gave their Royal Blessings by praying and endorsing the grassroots leader for Senate of Abia North with the Traditional Ite Nzu gesture of solidarity.

During the meetings, Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, the LP candidate for Federal House of Representatives Arochukwu/Ohafia, also received the blessing and vowed to put smiles on the faces of the good people of the consistency when they give him the trust to represent them at the Green Chambers.

During the royal meeting, the respectable fathers sued for peaceful and rancor-free elections and said that only a peaceful society can progress. They advised the untiring contenders to maintain the civil approach to issue-based campaigns and trust God to give them victory for a better Nigeria and a progressive Abia State.

In a related development, the Obidient and Labour Party Movement/Campaign Train witnessed a huge turn-out of supporters on Friday, February 10, 2023, in Lokpanta, and Leru/Lekwesi all in Umunneochi LGA. The Campaign train was led by Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji (Opotoyom) – incoming Senator Abia.
At the campaign town hall meeting, the people expressed confidence in the ability of the Labor Party force to usher in a new day for the masses.
