The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia and a frontline PDP aspirant for the Abia North Senatorial seat in 2023, Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole was in Bende LGA yesterday 28/04/2022, on consultation tour at the Bende LGA headquarters to meet with the stakeholders, delegates and Councillors for support.

Hon. Nkole had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Bende LGA Chairman, Hon. Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa (Ota Bende) to brief him on his mission to Bende LGA.Cheif Onwuchekwa welcomed him and showed optimism over his aspiration.

While addressing the Stakeholders at the hall, Hon. Nkole made his aspiration known to them, solicited their support and partnership for the realization of his ambition of quality and effective representation at the Senate. He assured that if given the mandate to fly the flag of PDP, he will return Abia North to PDP zone as it used to be. He equally promised not to disappoint the people of Bende LGA if elected into the red chamber.

In their separate speeches, Chief Dr. Ukwu Rocks Emma (Commissioner for Basic Education), Hon. Emmanuel Ndubuisi (Ijiriji Bende) representing Bende South State Constituency, Hon. Chief P. C. Onyegbu, Hon. Ndukwe Ojukwu (former House of Assembly member) and Bende LGA PDP Chairman, Chief Dike C. Dike eulogized Hon. Nkole and his quality representation in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency and the road project that he facilitated which crossed Bende LGA believing he will do more at the Senate as they pledged to give their support for the realization of this noble aspiration.

Further, Hon. Nkole met with his colleagues, the elected councillors of Bende LGA at the legislative chambers.

The lawmakers passed a vote of confidence and adopted him as their candidate for the election for being the only colleague of PDP stock at the green chamber and promised to stand by him for the realization of his ambition.

The 5 man ward executives of Bende LGA and LGA officers of PDP were unanimous and vowed to ensure his emergence as the flag bearer of PDP come 2023 General elections as he has the experience and capacity to lead Abia North at the Senate.

Other stakeholders who were at the consultation tour include; Hon. Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa (Executive Chairman Bende LGA), Chief Jerry Kalu (Osimiri), Hon. Chief P. C. Mba (Ugo Bende), Hon. Imo Mascot Obike , Barr. James Okpara (former Commissioner), Chief Ikerionwu Okarimie, Hon. John Mark amongst others.
While those who accompanied Hon. Nkole at the visit were; Hon. Chief Mba Ukaha (DG Uko Nkole for Senate), Chief Emaka Ikwuagwu (former Commissioner), Chief Nnamdi Udueze and Chief Mrs. Ijeoma Okorie.
