A seasoned technocrat, Rev. Dan Imo has felicitated with the people Arochukwu Ohafia/federal constituency on the celebration of Christmas.
Imo who described Christmas as a special period remembering the birth of Jesus Christ noted that “Christmas is a period to show love to another irrespective of clan, colour or race”.
The US-based administrator enjoined Christians in the federal constituency, Abia State and Nigeria at large, to seize the opportunity to pray for the progress of the country, saying there is “no other time to pray for our dear nation”.
Imo, in a statement personally signed by him, appealed to Nigerians to remain law abiding in the spirit of the season by showing love, compassion and patriotism in their daily activities.
He further urged Christians to always pray for the success of their leaders at all levels.
He said; “Our leaders need our support at all times. We must continue to support them with our prayers to succeed in office.
“As Christians, we must follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ by loving one another. The act of loving is a panache for peace, unity and progress,” he said.
