The honourable member representing Ohafia/Arochukwu federal constituency received with shock and regret the news of the demise of Chief Ukpai Agwu Ukpai, Ph.D., the Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the governor of Abia State, who passed on in the early hours of Tuesday after a brief illness.

Hon. Nkole described the late chief Ukpai Agwu as a detribalized leader, worthy partner in progress, and a firm believer of the Abia project. Stating that his demise is a monumental loss.

Hon. Nkole prays that God will grant the bereaved family, friends, and associates of the seasoned politician the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

May his gentle soul rest in the bosom of the lord.
