Honorable Ibe Okwara Osonwa, the Labour Party Candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency was one of the illustrious sons of Ohafia that received the distinguished son of Ohafia Award, an award to recognize Ohafia sons in different fields of endeavor, as well as contestants for different elective positions in Abia State.
Speaking to OHAFIATV News after the Award, the magnanimous, sagacious, and accessible politician expressed happiness for the honor accorded to him by the entire Ohafia people. It is a consciousness that I always live with and a legacy I must uphold.
“I want to assure Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency that I am coming to offer representation where my scorecard will be judged by my performance. The event of Ohafia day celebration saw the unveiling of Okpu Agu House, the Ohafia Center for Igbo Studies, and the launching of Compendium: Sights, Sounds, Issues, and People of Ohafia.
