In the Beginnings:

Prince Ike Okorafor was born in Ozu Abam, Arochukwu LGA of Abia State to the family of His Royal Highness Eze (Dr) Ike Okorafor (Onyerubi II of Abam) of blessed memory.

Educational Career:

The young Ike Okorafor went to Central School, Ozu Abam where he passed his First School Leaving Certificate (FLSC).
For his post- primary education, he proceeded to the prestigious Abam High School, Ozu Abam where he also passed his Senior School Certificate Examination in flying colors.

To further his studies, Prince Ike Okorafor secured admission in Abia State University, Uturu where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in (B.Sc) in Government/Public Administration.

Prince Ike Okorafor holds a P.Dip in Education from the Federal College of Education, Zaria.

Prince Ike Okorafor’s thirst for more knowledge took him outside the shores of Nigeria. He gained admission into the Long Island University, New York, USA where he obtained two Masters’ Degree in Political Science and Public Health.

Membership of Professional Organisations and Bodies:

Prince Ike Okorafor is a member of the following National and International Professional Organisations;

• Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. USA.
• Young Professionals in Foreign Policy, New York, USA.
• Federated Teachers of New York City, USA.
• Member, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria and
• Member, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria among others.

To his credits are numerous awards too many to be mentioned. Prince Ike Okorafor is the Chief Executive Officer of Evolette Resources Limited and the Founder, IOK Educational Foundation.

Prince Ike Okorafor is a renowned Political Scientist, Public Health Researcher, Educator and a crusader of good governance.

Prince Ike Okorafor is a mobilizer of men and resources, a pathfinder, fearless and visionary leader, writer, thinker, a vigorous combater against injustice whose colossal antecedents, mentorship to young people, philanthropy and positive impacts to humanity, growth and development of his community remains indelible on the sands of time.

Reflecting for a while on his results oriented Educational and human empowerment, passion for charity and philanthropy as well as his ethical and political re-orientation, leaves you with the mindset that that he is a man of reputation, moral integrity and clear vision to bring the desired change we have been craving for in the social political sector of our economy, hence, the coining of his political mantra, ” OGANIRU ANYI 2023″.

Indeed, Prince Ike Okorafor’s varied experiences in the public and private sector, academic laurels, social exposure, indomitable spirit and his irrefutable noble actions to improve and advance the progress of Abam Onyerubi, Igbo land and Nigeria at large including his sterling qualities, scintillating and intimidating credentials qualifies him as the most efficient man capable of driving the “PROGRESS” of our society to an enviable height.
