The Director General of Global Initiative for Good Governance and Atikulated Agenda Worldwide, Chief Emeka Kalu, has described as wicked and inhumane, the campaign of character assassination targeted at Senator T. A. Orji and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu respectively.
In a statement signed by his media and publicity Aide, Comr Amos Kalu, and made available to the press, Chief Kalu condemned the incessant attempt by some scrupulous elements to tarnish the image of Senator Orji for no just cause, stating that there are more civil ways to address issues beyond jungle approach.
“My attention has been drawn to a fake video making rounds on social media that the Ex Governor and Senator Representing Umuahia and Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, packed money in a house, alleging that he (the video maker) was sent to pack and dispose the money that is now decaying or burnt.
“For the avoidance of doubt, such money have no relationship with the mentioned Abia leaders as only a fool can imagine that any leader who is not working with the bank will be crazy enough to pack such money in his house or anywhere else.
“This is just a wicked attempt to further drag these men to the dust and I am certain that this concoction too shall fail like every other missles previously fired at them” Dr Kalu said.
Chief Kalu who is also one time Gubernatorial aspirant in Abia State, reminded the mischief makers to repent and give these men a break to focus on the serious task that comes with governance as all these smear campaign will not lead Abia State anywhere.
“Let me state here that after my investigation, I discovered that the video originated in Abuja from an agency that deals on storing money and I wonder why someone will wish to link the fake video to the Orjis and Governor Ikpeazu.
“There is limit to level of smear campaign and character assasination and these stupidity have not in any way progressed Abia State and will never do” he said.
