i, Chief Dr. Emeka C. Kalu (ECK), on behalf of myself and lovely family with a hearty congratulation, wish to felicitate with my father and good friend Attah of Igala on his landmark achievement and tall disposition at ensuring a good society and peaceful coexistence.

It is worthy of note that after being crowned the Attah Igala five years ago, you have achieved a lot of feet that has indelibly ensured that peace reign within your kingdom and beyond. A leadership style that Nigerian Monarchs should imbibe to ensure a united Nigeria for all.

My earnest prayer on this occasion is that God in his infinite mercies will continue to guide and direct your path with wisdom and understanding even as you continue to bring the best to your subjects and Nigeria at large.

May I also use this medium appreciate the speaker of Kogi State house Assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole and Gov. Yahaya Bello for passage and eventual unbanning of Ocho Festival which was celebrated last about 50 years ago. It is a clear indication that it takes only but a mutual understanding to get things working in the right direction for the greater good of all.

In this meritorious event of His Royal Majesty, Attah Igala and President Kogi State Council of Chiefs, Dr. Idakwo Michael Ameh Oboni II, on the invitation to the ROYAL UNITY HUNTING FESTIVAL OF IGALA KINGDOM (OCHO), I’ll say this is an ancient tradition that proves that Africa Culture is not yet lost to civilization.

May I also congratulate the Chairman of the Occasion: HRH Prof Steven I. Ocheni (Omachi Attah Igala), Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Executive Governor, Kogi State and my very good friend Prince Tom who has made me to understand that family exist in all part of the world.
