OHAFIATVThe Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji was this morning presented with an Award of Excellence by his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu.
The Award of Excellent was given to the Speaker by Mben Political Assembly during her 2020 Dialogue & Award Ceremony held at Royal Damgrate Hotels, Umuahia on the 8th day of December, 2020.
According to MPA, the Award is in recognition of the speaker’s contributions to Ohafia and Abia state.
Responding after receiving the Award, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji thanked MPA for finding him worthy for such recognition.
He stated that the cordial relationship existing between the people of Ohafia and Ibeku as brothers has been superb and will continue to be so.
He assured that he will continue to identify with the people of Ohafia whom he described as ‘Great People’.
Mben Political Assembly is an Ohafia Political think-thank whose mission is to use all available resources to connect qualified and well – groomed persons of Ohafia extraction to political power at both Federal, State and Local Government levels for the socioeconomic and political development of Ohafia and its citizens.
