The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole today Thursday 19th March, 2020 at his ONYERUBI residence in Umuahia received in audience members of the ABIA UNITY FORUM led by her Director General, Barr. Prince Enyioma Okpanku who is also the Deputy TC Chairman, Isiala Ngwa South LGA to commiserate with him on the demise of his father, Late Chief Emmanuel Nkole Ndukwe who died after a brief illness on the 24th day of December, 2019 at the age of 79
In his condolence message, a Stakeholder of the Abia Unity Forum and former Commissioner for Boundary Matters, , Chief Imo Mascot Obike described late Emmanuel Nkole as an astute banker, financial expert , community leader and a fine gentleman who diligently served the Nation and meritoriously retired as a Senior Management Staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed elder statesman in the bosom of the Lord and the fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
Also speaking, the DG of the Forum, a socio-political organization in Abia State, Barr. Prince Enyioma Okpanku used the medium to thank Rt. Hon. Nkole for his continuous supports to the Forum and kind gestures beyond his constituency as many Abians are beneficiaries of his magnanimity. He described Rt. Hon. Nkole as a leader per excellence who has performed creditably well as a federal lawmaker across and beyond Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency hence the reason why they deemed it fit to extend brotherly love to stand with him in this moment of grief while pledging her continuous loyalty and support to him as a progressive minded Abian and a Leader in the State.
In his reaction, Rt. Hon. Nkole who feels visibly elated expressed gratitude for the love shown to him for their coming to condole with him at this grief period despite their tight schedules. He prayed to God to grant them journey mercies as they return to their respective abodes.
Highlights of the condolence meeting was a prayer offered to the Nkole’s family by the Forum for God to protect and comfort them for the great loss, and grant the family the resources to enable them give the deceased a befitting burial slated to hold on 10 -11th April, 2020.
Also present during the visit were the Ohafia LGA PDP Chairman, Chief John Okocha, Barr. Mark Okorie, former TC Chairman, Isuikwuato LGA, Chairman, Forum of Abia State Elected Councillors Forum, Hon. Prince Kalu Eke, Abia North Elected Councillors Forum Chairman, Hon. Chiagozie Egbu, former Leaders of Isuikwuato Legislative Council, Hon. Ngozi Enwerem, Hon. Engr. Chinyere Cletus Ejike and host of other friends and acquaintances.
