Now, here he is: a man who has resolved to usher into Abia State political space, leadership with a human face; leadership with innovation driven by techno-professionalism; leadership that will define Abia State by the convivial disposition of its people and the crackle of laughters on their faces; leadership that will restore dignity of labour in the eyes, feelings and standard of living of our disgruntled and neglected civil servants and state pensioners; leadership that will change the obnoxious face of our environment and road networks; and leadership that will evolve e-governance and automated systems in all facets of government business.

Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai is not a Social Liability who has and sees politics as the only means of livelihood such that if he loses, he has nothing to fall back on; and therefore, can kill, maim, and annihilate just to clinch power. Rather, he is a Social Asset, who is self-made and content with what God has blessed him with, and so sees politics as a game of understanding, negotiation, alliances, affinity, and altruism. So, if he fails to succeed in his political race, he goes back to his business. This is the kind of person Nde Abia need to navigate the affairs of our dear state, come 2023.

Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai is a virtuous leader; he is bold in his actions, able to take calculated risks in public business and thinks creatively about the future. To him, uncharted territory is never off limits. He is a seeker; he bypasses mediocrity and is not content to settle for the status quo. He searches for excellence with integrity and character. He is not trapped by the dogma of other people’s thinking.

Nde Abia, let us all support Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai and vote him in as the next Governor of Abia State on the platform of NNPP in 2023.

Let us choose the Primus inter Peres from the lots. This is the only way we can serve our present to secure the future of children and generations yet unborn.
