As the contest for the position to represent the good people of Arochukwu State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly continue to thicken, Prince Ike Okorafor has reiterated his preparedness to take the Constituency to another level of transparent, purposeful and people-oriented, accountable representation.

He made this known to newsmen as he arrived in Nigeria in continuation of his grassroots, door-to-door orientation of the people on the need to make their PVC their voice to decide their destiny from 2023 going forward.

In his words, “I am assuring you that 2023 will be a time to make the right statement with our PVC by insisting on making our votes count and defending it against purveyors of our collective patrimony who grow fat from our pains while we helplessly watch without hope.

“2023 is not going to be business as usual, it is going to be time to change the narratives in the political composition of Arochukwu State Constituency and Abia State at large, it is going to be a time to take our destiny in our hands, by Gods Mercy”, he said.

On the issue of how confident he is compared to an army of fellow contestants, he said he is not perturbed or scared of their presence as he is prepared, qualified and ready to go to the polls with any opponent.

“Before I joined the race for representing my Constituency, I made it a covenant with my God that my purpose will be to serve only the interest of my people and nothing else because they have long been shortchanged, duped and abandoned to their fate. This is a monster I wish to fight, I am prepared to give them a better deal, and I am convinced that God will be on my side, therefore I am not shaken up by any opponent.

“With my level of experience in politics and qualification in academics, vocational and administrative endeavours, I am proud to say I am a candidate to beat. Only the electorates can stand between me and them”, he revealed.

Meanwhile, Prince Ike Okorafor has maintained his canvassing for support around the LGA to win the hearts and support of the constituents as the only means to secure a better future for the good people of Arochukwu State Constituency.
