Breakthrough has come the way of two Ohafia Sons, Fortune Ibe from Akanu Ohafia and Kalu Ojiako from Abia Ohafia, to play professional football in Italy if they prove their talent in an ongoing trial in Italy where they have already flown to.

This was facilitated by the able hands of Coach John Obuh, the reputable handler of AsRoma football Academy here in Nigeria and Dr Micheal kalu Mba, another Ohafia warrior, who went out of his way to ensure their movement to Italy was not truncated or hampered in any way.

According to the coach, “The two young talented footballers will have the opportunity to play professional football in Italy after they have successfully undergone trials for professional football carriers”.

He, therefore, asks for prayers and best wishes for them as this will open new doors for them and other budding talents in search of opportunities to boost their careers.

Coach John Obuh also revealed that: “AsRoma academy also have another U17 Ohafia sons Obinna Maxwell Uko from Amangwu and Nwankwo Ozioma Chika from Okagwe, who are undergoing training for a similar opportunity. I am praying that God willing, great favour will soon shine on them too”.

“Let’s pray for them and wish them well,” he said.

Recall that Chief (Coach) John Obuh had, towards the end of the year 2021, before his Traditional Retirement, encouraged Ohafia Sons to submit their names for training if they are convinced they are talented enough. That call so far is what has produced four budding talents that will soon shake the world of football.
