More aid shipments from USAID have arrived in Egypt to enter Gaza, the White House said on X after the announcement.

According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the combat halt will likely last for an additional four days. It was said that a 24-hour notice would be given before the stoppage began.

According to the statement, in exchange for Palestinian women and children being imprisoned in Israeli jails, 50 civilian women and children who are now being held in Gaza will be released. The announcement did not specify the number of Palestinians who will be freed.

While applauding the agreement between Israel and Hamas for a humanitarian stoppage in the Gaza Strip, UN members reaffirmed their demand for a cease-fire on Wednesday..
