It is with shock that the Abia State Governorship Candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai, received the news of the death of Professor Eleazar Uche Ikonne, the PDP Abia State Governorship Candidate.

Dr Ukpai, on behalf of his family, his Campaign Organization, supporters, and NNPP family Abia State, commiserates with the Prof Uche Ikonne family on this irreparable loss.

Dr Ukpai also commiserates with Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and the Abia State Government, as well as the Abia PDP family and the Ngwa nation. Abia State has indeed lost her illustrious son!

He prays God to grant Prof Ikonne’s immediate family and all Abians the courage and fortitude to bear this loss and to rest in peace the soul of the departed.
