….. As the federal Lawmaker doles out Christmas gifts and Cash gift during the Christmas Parley.

The member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituncy; Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole has in-line with his tradition of engaging his constituents, held a Christmas Parley with women drawn from across the 26 villages that makes up the Abam Onyerubi clan on Friday, 24th December 2021 at Central School, Ozu-Abam.

Speaking at the Parley, the women leader of Abam Onyerubi, Lady Comfort Ebebe noted that since Hon. Uko Nkole assumed office as the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituncy, Abam Onyerubi has witnessed a massive facelift in terms of development as his midas touch is well visible across the different components of the clan, while reassuring the lawmaker of the women’s support and prayers.

Speaking further, Lady Comfort Ebebe reemphasized that the people of Abam Onyerubi, with the women leading the charge are ready to make a statement with their son and brother; Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole .

Also Speaking, Lady Jane Ogbatua an Abam born who is also an APC Chieftain noted that having spent few days in Abam alongside other women, it is evident that Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole has rewritten the narratives of development in the acient clan, and called on the women to continue in their support for their son as she has now been convinced beyond reasonable doubt to support the rep member in view of his unprecedented sterling performances. While nothing that with their collective supports, eshewing envy and divisive spirit, Hon. Uko Nkole remains Abam Onyerubi’s best bet in writing her name in the anals of Abia state political history books.

Responding, Hon. Nkole thanked the women for the charged atmosphere and electric reception accorded to him, noting that his progressive partnership with women of Abam Onyerubi dates back years when he was a civil servant reinstating that he will continue to partner with them as women are the bedrock of every progressive and organized society.

The lawmaker also seized the opportunity to brief the women on some of his recent projects that cuts across the clan, including the on going Abam Surface water scheme and all his physical/human capital development projects cutting accross the 26 villages of Abam which the women confirmed such developments.

The well attended parley led by the Women leaders of the 26 villages in Abam Onyerubi witnessed the disbursement of Christmas packages majorly food items and wrappers ,cash gifts amongst others donated by Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole, even as they prayed for more grace in his personal and political endeavours.
