No wonder people call unserious things “ yeye”. Once mischief-makers whose instincts are bent on blackmail mean business, they go ahead in tailoring some lies, they would go to the extent of making it public to enable people of fragile mindset to buy into them and begin to go around spreading falsehood. That is the degree to which rumour mongers, rabble-rousers and mischievous elements could go in their business of causing unnecessary hostility against an innocent person.

The baseless, fact bereft, sick and falsely polluted news making rounds on social media accusing Dr Nkem OKeke to have on separate occasions received 150 000 and 300 000 dollars from Chief Andy Uba to aid his victory in the recently concluded Anambra State governorship election is not only an act of wickedness but one whose aim was to ruin the integrity of a man whose political prominence cannot be jeopardized by wore mongers and evil workers. Dr Nkem Okeke is a man of integrity and by the virtue of his standing would never engage himself in this sort of illegitimate acts as opined by the traducers of falsehood. It makes a mockery of a decent society when issues are tailored and twisted to blackmail senior citizens of a decent society.

To make it abundantly clearer, Dr Nkem Okeke didn’t receive any token from Chief Andy Uba to facilitate the latter s political ambitions nor did he drag Dr Okeke to Okija Shrine for spiritual judgment.

Be that as it may, if actually, Andy Uba gave the same purported amount of money to Dr Okeke, would an educated and respected citizen like Chief Andy prefer the court of shrine to an established government regulatory institution which is the right place in law to recover debts? That goes deeper to confirm how fake and eye the entire story was.

Global Initiatives for Good Governance( GIGG) is hereby telling the general public to disregard the careless ranting and dust off the wrong impression created by idle gossips. We also vehemently warn those behind these irrational publications to desist from further peddling ills against a reputed political personality, Dr Okeke or else a full weight of legal action will be launched to counter them.This is a purely calculated outburst against whom God has chosen to bless and no amount of mischiefs and shameless rascality can stop the political promotion of the Deputy Governor in Nigeria and internationally. Above all, yeye stories never hold any water and will continue to be full of nothingness ad infinitum.
