Police Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, on stop and search duty have arrested two suspected impersonators at the Head Bridge, in Asaba, Delta State.

The suspects include Bankole Odusi and Samuel Idowu, ‘m’ 49yrs.

The RRS had intercepted a Ford vehicle with REG No. 9791F7 with the two suspects wearing police uniforms and T-shirts with police color.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali disclosed this at a press briefing held in Asaba.

The Police boss said, “Upon search, A Toy Beretta pistol was recovered from them.

“On interrogation, they initially said they were police officers, but later admitted to being spy police. The investigation is ongoing.”
