After the official take over of the running of the affairs of Ohafia Local Government Area by the newly elected Chairman, Dr Okorafor Okorafor Ukiwe, some strategic changes has been announced.

According to press statement signed by the Executive Chairman and forwarded to OHAFIA-TV News, the Chairman has disclosed the dissolution of all committees as well as revocation of every contractual agreements regarding revenue matters in the LGA. Read the statement in details.

DISSOLUTION OF COMMITTEES AND TERMINATION OF ALL REVENUE CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS IN OHAFIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

This is to announce the dissolution of all revenue, parks and market comittee and the cancellation of all existing contractual agreements in Ohafia Local Government with immediate effect.

All affected persons and committe Chairpersons are to hand over all Ohafia Local Government property and receipts to the office of the Head of Service of the local government with immediate effect.

Consequently, the general public is advised to be cautious with any person or group of persons who may continue to parade themselves as revenue officials or agents of the local government council forthwith.
