… says he is patriotic Ohafian
The Transition Committee Chairman of Ohafia Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Fred Eke Idika has eulogized Chief Barr. Dr. Okwun Ojah as a committed patriot and outstanding philanthropist, saying that the present administration will continue to count on his support and solidarity.
This appreciation took place at the Ohafia Local Government Area, Abia State when the Ohafia council of Traditional Rulers recognized the workaholic Chairman with a Chieftaincy title as “Ekwueme 1 of Ohafia”.
He went further to identify with so many philanthropic works being sponsored by the Ohafia illustrious son, Dr. Okwun Ojah which includes clean water scheme for 6 villages in Ohafia, sponsoring skill acquisition program, sharing of palliative during covid 19 lockdown to 8 villages, paying of school fees to indigent students from Ohafia, donating #300,000 to the family of late Mr. Ifeanyi Arunsi who was gruesomely murdered by a police man.
In his speech, Hon. Fred Eke said that “It is gratifying to note that this Administration can continue to count on the solidarity and support of accomplished, highly respected statesmen and committed patriots like you (Dr. Okwun Ojah) as we vigorously pursue our transformation efforts geared towards community development and service to humanity”.
While responding, Dr. Okwun Ojah ably represented by his Personal Assistant, Mr. Jonah Okoro congratulated the Chairman on his coronation as Ekwueme 1 of Ohafia and also thanked him for his style of leadership which has been productive in the local government while assuring him that the good works of Dr. Okwun Ojah will continue irrespective of odds as he has the best interest of Ohafia and Abia at heart.
It is worthy to note that Dr. Okwun Ojah is a foremost Abia Philanthropist who has been significant in changing benevolent narrative in community service.
