It is very worrisome and condemnable how far the nation has rolled down the rabbit hole under Buhari in a bid to cling unto power by all means, not minding the acceptability or otherwise of his unpopular administration that has only offered woes, desolation, hunger, impunity, ineptitude and oppression to the entire Nigeria citizens.

The Director General of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide and one time Gubernatorial Aspirant in Abia State, Chief Dr. Emeka C. Kalu, have reacted to myriad of unbelievable activities in Nigeria in the past few weeks, a development his described as unfortunate and tyrannical.

In a Statement signed by his aide on media and publicity, Comr. Amos Kalu, and made public to the media, Chief Kalu condemned the high handedness of the Buhari led administration that believe that the option to every issues concerning the nation is naked force as if we are living in 1983 when he ruled with decrees and senseless abandon.

“The Buhari administration is openly taking Nigeria back to 1983 when he ruled with decree and wanton promulgations in reckless abandon.

“He has continued to detain El- ZakZaky endlessly against court orders to release him, which has created the Shi’ite mayhem facing Nigeria today, yet he clamped down on them and had his way. He has continued to proscribe any group with diverse opinion about Nigeria while paying no hid to the endless and brutal nightmare the Herdsmen are unleashing on citizens on a daily.

“But the most unfortunate of all is that it is surprising to me that Buhari will clamp down on peaceful protesters who are exercising their fundamental human rights as entrenched in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, forgetting that he, Buhari is a product of Protest against Goodluck Ebele Jonathan when he wanted power by all means.

“What makes it even more annoying is that Buhari protested for change of power and he had his way, but these people are protesting for change of policies that will positively affect the lives of the masses of Nigeria because the economic situation is hitting too hard. Is it too much to ask for? Or have been slide back to absolute dictatorship for lack of administrative ideas to make the needed change that will put Nigeria back on the right track?” He quarried.

Chief Kalu was clearly besides himself while lamenting the way Buhari has abused power and intimidated Nigerians into submission within a space of 5 years and promised that Nigerians are never giving up until Buhari will succumb to the greater will of the people because Nigeria is owned by the people and not by Buhari and the few cabals holding Nigeria at ransom.

“Nigeria will never succumb to intimidation and oppression as characterized by the Buhari-Led Government. The Protesters are fighting for pains of the voiceless and oppressed Nigerians, the spate of joblessness, insecurity, hunger and it is expected that a sensible government should seek dialogue and ask for a solution rather than violently clamping down on descanting voices” He said.

He finally encouraged Nigerians never to give up on hope for a better Nigeria, assuring that the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will bring an end to all these bad times.

“In a few weeks from now, when the usurpers are shown the back door, Alhaji Atiku will address all these challenges from their very foundation so that Nigeria will once again be a safe haven for us all.” He assured.
