Football has been one of the most unifying forces that has kept Nigerians together despite many problems. Chief Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu, President of ECK Foundation (ECK-F), laid the groundwork for youths to prove themselves worthy of identification, sponsorship, and talent training.

With N1 million to compete for throughout the holidays, talent discovery and fun are certain.
The US-based engineer, philanthropist, and astute politician has always expressed his intention to invest in youths as the nation’s future, and this competition is a step in that direction.

He said: “Capturing youths’ minds and guiding them towards beneficial initiatives like discovering their potential and helping them survive would solve many youth-related vices in society, such as kidnapping, drug misuse, etc.

“I will always invest in their future since that is the only way to ensure a brighter tomorrow and safer society”, he vows.

The Tournament is one of many events planned by the Convener of Global Initiative for Good Governance, GIGG, to rescue Abia North Constituents in 2027.

All the matches will be played at Bende Local Government field, while the time is 3 pm each day. The Chief Host and sponsor of the Tournament, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu will be present on the day of the finals to cheer the competitors, firsthand.
