The Idima Abam Development Union has applauded Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, for his impactful and inclusive representation.
A delegation from the Union, led by Elder Felix Onwuchekwa, paid a solidarity visit to the lawmaker at his National Assembly office in Abuja on Monday.

During the visit, the group expressed their gratitude for Hon. Okwara’s quality representation and used the opportunity to reinforce their continued support. They also appealed to the lawmaker not to forget Idima Abam community in the distribution of the dividends of democracy. Key among their requests were the renovation of dilapidated schools and the improvement of access roads in the area.
Elder Onwuchekwa, speaking on behalf of the delegation, said, “We came to show our appreciation and to remind our representative of the pressing needs of our community. We believe in his leadership and remain hopeful that our concerns will be addressed.”

In response, Hon. Ibe Okwara thanked the delegation for their visit and their confidence in his leadership. He reaffirmed his commitment to equitable development across the constituency. “I am here to serve all the communities of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency. No one will be left behind. I assure you that Idima Abam and all others will be fully carried along in our plans for sustainable development,” he said.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with renewed hope and stronger ties between the representative and the Idima Abam community.
