The Okon-Aku Youth Association, Abuja Branch witnessed a remarkable display of philanthropy at its March meeting, as the Ogbajie Foundation, led by it’s President, Chief Kingsley Kalu Oke, continued its monthly empowerment scheme.
According to the model, every month, 1 lucky youth is selected to receive N100,000 each as business capital. This initiative will run for 12 months, providing a total of N1.2 million in business grants to 12 beneficiary who will use it to boost their business or start new one.
Notably, Miss Felicia Kalu made history by winning the empowerment program for the second consecutive month, January and February. A tally is drawn every month and matched with the joker number, there is no limit to how many am individual can emerge winner each month. The draw is also conducted in full glare of the youths and also conducted transparently. The monthly grant will continue for the remaining 10 months.
The Ogbajie Foundation’s initiative aims to support young entrepreneurs in achieving their business goals and contributing to the economic growth of their selves and Okon-Aku Autonomous Community.
The foundation’s efforts have been met with widespread applause, and the beneficiaries have expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to kick-start their business ventures.
