A youth advocacy group for good governance in Abia state, Abia North Youth Agenda, ANYA, has expressed optimism and hope that the incoming administration of the Governor-Elect in Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti, will usher in a new era of development and progress in Abia state when he brings his administrative and business acumen to bear.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, the National Coordinator of the group, Hon. Udoeze Agwu Kalu, pointed out that the incoming administration of Dr. Alex Otti has a big task in Abia State as hopes and expectations of Ndi Abia are very high, he then urged the governor-elect to hit the ground running on all fours to deliver maximally on his manifesto before the next electioneering dispensation.
“Foremost, we wish to congratulate Dr. Alex Otti on his well-deserved victory which he vehemently fought for, a good reward for his spirited efforts since 2015. I praise his unrelenting spirit and believe that he must have a lot to offer Ndi Abia to set a new precedence that will engender speedy development of the state within a record time.
“As a banker that attained the highest level in the industry, we are optimistic that your wealth of experience will be employed to offer leadership that will meet up with the yearnings and aspirations of Ndi Abia in all areas of development.
“We are particularly proud and overjoyed for your extension of hand of friendship to Abia North through choosing our son, Engr. Emetu as your Deputy Governor, we appreciate the gesture and promise our unwavering support for your administration’s life span, believing that you will not exclude Abia North in your administration’s developmental equation.
“Once again, we say a big congratulations and wish you a wonderful and successful administration with God’s guidance and divine protection” they prayed.
