FISCAL DISCIPLINE… He remains the Governor with the best record of fiscal discipline since 1999.

He is about the only Governor who did not legislate a pension or personal payoff from the State he governed. He does not draw any resources from Anambra coffers unlike one of his opponents who continues to draw a humongous yearly pension from the State he governed.

He left over 78billion naira in the State coffees, which his successor deployed into building a Cargo and Passenger Airport in Anambra.

He was frugal and effectively cut the cost of governance such that he was able to clear the backlog of pensions and gratuity of all the workers in government. He left office not owing any worker, and not owing any contractor that had finished his job.

PETER OBI’S watch in Anambra cannot not be tarred with lies and falsehood. By far he remains a lucid example of responsible and responsive leadership. PETER IS BETTER than the rest.
