As political campaigns continue to gather momentum across the state towards the general elections of 2023, the Labour Party candidate, LP, for Abia North Senatorial Zone, Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji (Opotoyom), has proceeded on his grassroots awareness with Wards/Community Tours to seek the support of stakeholders in sensitization of the electorates upon who his success to the national assembly lies.

His Ward/Community Tour began at Okobodi/Ntalakwu in Bende LGA on Thursday Third November 2023 where he made a strong case for grassroots development, employment opportunities for the youths, and qualitative representation at the National Assembly to bring dividends of democracy closer to the people.

Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji (Opotoyom) made another stop at Bende Town Hall for an all-important heart-to-heart chat with stakeholders and his numerous supporters. At the meeting, he reiterated the need for a paradigm shift in the way leadership is handled in the state, saying that the people must rise to the occasion of choosing their desired leaders by voting at the polls because when they fail to do so, the few that will come out to vote will validate chosen leaders that will oversee the affairs of even the ones that refused to come out and vote. Therefore we must take our destiny into our hands by voting wisely.

Also, Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji (Opotoyom) made another journey to Ozuitem where he was received at the village Town Hall for an impactful meeting and a courtesy call to His Royal Majesty Eze John Onuoha Akaliro (Obasi-Ukwu 11 of Umuobasi Ukwu) in his Palace.
