OHAFIATVThe Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu was today conferred with a Chieftancy Title as IKE MBA 1 OF ABAM.
The Chieftancy Title conferred on the Deputy Speaker came from the 26 traditional rulers in Abam led by HRH, Eze Uka Oji (Chairman, Abam Traditional Rulers Council).
According to the Abam Traditional Rulers, the people of Abam are well aware of the efforts of the Deputy Speaker towards improving the lives of his people in his position as the member representing Ohafia South Constituency.
They also eulogized him for his philanthropic gestures through his pet project THE NWACHINEMERE FOUNDATION.
They prayed for more greater heights for the Deputy Speaker while assuring him of their support anytime as a son of Abam via the Chieftancy Title.
In his response, the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu thanked the Traditional Rulers and the entire people of Abam Onyerubi for the honour done to him.
He pledge to contribute his own qouta towards the development of Abam Onyerubi going forward.
