Troops kill Boko Haram commander Abu Illiya, 32 others

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai alongside members of the civilian joint task force have reportedly annihilated a top Boko Haram commander, Abu Illiya alongside his 32 fighters. The feat was said to have been achieved during an intelligence-led aggressive fighting patrol in some identified Boko Haram enclaves in Kayamari, Habasha and Yuwe villages in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State. Zamfara: NAF neutralizes scores of bandits in the forest

Two Nigeria Air Force (NAF) fighter jets have neutralized scores of bandits believed to be members of a notorious bandits’ kingpin, Bello Turji in Zamfara forest. ISWAP bury 26 terrorists killed in military bombardments in Borno

Abuja prison attack: FG releases details of escaped Boko Haram terrorists

The Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) has published the details and images of the 68 Boko Haram suspects who escaped from the Kuje prison. According to a BBC Pidgin report, officials have also promised to release details of other prisoners who escaped from the facility. PREMIUM TIMES reported how suspected Boko Haram terrorists broke into the Kuje Custody Center (prison) on Tuesday night.
