A day of transformation and renewed hope unfolded in the Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal Constituency as Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, the Member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, hosted an impactful training and empowerment program for women and widows.

In collaboration with the Nigerian Army and Mandalor Consultant Ltd, over 200 women and widows from the constituency received hands-on training in various vocational skills, including hairdressing, soap making, and makeup artistry. This initiative, spearheaded by Hon. Osonwa, demonstrates his strong commitment to uplifting the lives of women’s economic independence within the community.

Upon completing the intensive training sessions, each participant not only received certification but was also provided with essential startup equipment and financial support to launch their small businesses immediately.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as the beneficiaries appreciated this life-changing opportunity.
