A vocal critic, Sam Usaha, has expressed disappointment that no one from Rivers, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Benue states has questioned former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, about the alleged abandonment of rail rehabilitation projects in these regions during his tenure.
The critic demands to know why communities in these states were deprived of benefits from the projects, questioning Amaechi’s current political ambitions.
“Why were our communities abandoned?” the critic asks, demanding a justification for the neglect. “If there’s one reason, good or bad, let’s hear it from the man who now wants to be king.”
This call for accountability highlights concerns about regional development and the need for transparency in governance.
