Gospel singer Agnes Iroh has called out popular rapper Olamide for sampling her song “Follow the Ladder” in his 2014 track “Our Lord Jesus” without permission.
In a viral video, Iroh revealed that she’s been battling illness, which delayed her response to Olamide’s actions.

Iroh extended an invitation to Olamide, asking him to “come and see” her, implying that she wants to discuss the issue and find a resolution.
She emphasized that Olamide needs to compensate her for using her song, as he received numerous awards and benefits from itit.
This isn’t the first time Olamide has been accused of sampling songs without permission. However, it’s worth noting that some Nigerian artists, like Simi and Burna Boy, have demonstrated respect for their colleagues’ intellectual property by obtaining permission and collaborating with the original creators.
The incident has sparked a mixed reaction from fans, with some urging Olamide to settle the matter amicably, while others are skeptical about Iroh’s intentions.
