In view of the Federal Government appropriation for Student Loan in 2024, the Member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa has stood for his constituents to participate in the first batch of Federal Government Student Loan to students in higher institutions from his Constituency. This is a great chance to get some financial help so that students can focus on their studies.
The Student Loan is part of the FG palliative measures to boost academic pursuit of students from his Constituency and ease burdens from parents who are finding it difficult at this critical time to meet up with the needs of their children in Schools.
Who Can Apply?
- Constituents studying in a verifiable College of Education, Polytechnic, or University.
- Constituents in the first year or above (including students with disabilities)
- Constituents who are not on scholarship or receiving educational support.
- Constituents who are truly finding it difficult to pay fees or other educational materials.
If you answered yes to all these questions, then you might be eligible for the loan award!
Requirements for application:
To apply, you MUST have the following:
- Valid Student Matriculation Number
- Student ID Card
- Admission Letter
- Certificate of Origin
- Last School Fees Receipt
- Passport photograph
- NIN
- BVN
- Account Details
Hon. Ibe has called on eligible students in different tertiary institutions to submit their names and particulars to enable them to participate in the first batch of FG Student Loan for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
He believes that students are the integral part of the society and are leaders of tomorrow, therefore their roles in nation building cannot be overemphasized; and should be given the desired attention to assist them achieve their dreams.
Names of the first 200 participants to benefit will be published as details of the loan process will be made available to all soon. The application will close by midnight, 18th June, 2024.
Note: All payments will be paid to a valid bank account, which must tally/match with the name on the student’s school documents.
