The International Women’s Day is March 8, the day women are celebrated all over the world for their immense roles in making the world a better place for humanity through love, care, and endless sacrifice they have continued to offer.
On this auspicious day of celebrating womanhood, the President and CEO of Emeka Charles Kalu Foundation (ECK Foundation) , Chief Dr. Emeka C. Kalu has buttressed the need to make more room for women’s participation in all spheres of human existence, especially in politics and development which are the bedrock of any progressive society.
“Consider a future where all genders are treated equally. A world without bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, fair, and inclusive. A world in which diversity is valued and cherished with their full intellectual capacity brought to it’s potential with endless prospect for progress.
“We must celebrate women’s accomplishments. Raise awareness about discrimination. Take action to achieve gender parity all in an effort to make the world a better place”, he said.
The US-based civil Engineer, Businessman, and astute politician argued that women have proven to be better managers of resources from home to state and federal levels and therefore, must be given the needed opportunity to play greater roles in reshaping our nation and reviving her economy.
